Costa Rica Hotels in GuanacasteFlamingo Beach ResortCosta Rica Hotels in Guanacaste, this is a very nice hotel with a beautiful pool and close to the ocean. The rooms were nice and the view from the balcony to the ocean was something else. When you enter the hotel the lobby is open and gives a great view out to the pool area. The hotel is decorated very tastefullyIn the pool area there are several settings like grass huts which are inviting. There is also quick access to the beaches. The local restaurants had good food and we were never disappointed. The staff was very helpful and offered lots of suggestions for activities. The food was good here as well. There is a casino at this hotel. Hotel Estela De FuegoThis hotel had just reopened under new ownership when we visited about 3 years ago. We were in one of the updated rooms overlooking the pool. We were visited by an iguana while walking in the grassy area beyond the pool The food was good and the service was great. One of the nights the power was off in most of the area and we sat out beyond the pool and were in awe of the spectacular view looking into the clear sky and the millions of stars. It seemed the night sky was more brilliant here as there wasn't the glow of a large city near by. This was almost complete darkness broken by the light of the stars.
