Costa Rica MapsNow for one of the funner parts of Costa Rica. Getting a map and then hoping that all the roads and bridges are still intact. Some will say that the roads are great. There are some that are wonderful to drive on and then there are the others. Even in downtown San Jose they have had contests to take pictures of the worst pot holes. Some even large enough to swallow your car! We have encountered bridges that are no longer there and roads that have been washed away or covered with rocks and trees. You will also need to use caution if you stop along the roadside. There are some bandits who are looking for people by the road sides and there are cases of robbery. Thankfully we have never encountered this issue but then again if one uses common sense you shouldn't have an issue.
