Costa Rica Travel

Are you wondering where to go when you get to Costa Rica? Well for Costa Rica Travel let us give you a few suggestions. We will give you ideas based on our travels and experiences. We always like to find out as much about our vacation destination so that we can plan ahead to get the most out of our trip. If you know someone has enjoyed an activity chances are you will enjoy it too.

Join us for an adventure in Costa Rica....

First let us explore some of the towns in Costa Rica.

One place to start your Costa Rica Travel is the capital, San Jose is in the heart of the country in the central valley. The city was founded in 1738 but wasn’t named the capital until 1823. The climate is mild with temperature ranges between 59 – 83 F (15 C and 28.3 C). The rainy season is from April to November. I have always forgotten and had to purchase an umbrella every trip. Normally it rains the days I arrive almost without fail. You can get an umbrella at the store or one of the many street vendors. San Jose is easy to navigate but you will rarely find a street sign. Downtown is the shopping area or central plaza which is along Avenida Central or Central Avenue. Here you will find shops of all kinds, restaurants, fountains and resting areas. You will also find street merchants, vendors for fresh fruit and vegetables, musicians and street performers for your entertainment.

You will find it relaxing and enjoyable to walk among the people of Costa Rica.

You can sit on the many benches and enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the people go by.

There are so many things to do and places to go in San Jose. We have mentioned a few but we give you many more ideas….

Like Museums? Well Costa Rica has a few to explore

The National Theater (Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica), The Melicao Salazar Theatre not only offer history but cultural events as well. Interested in gold you can visit the Gold Museum which represents artifacts of not only Costa Rica but Latin America as well.

These are just a few of the many places to explore the history of Costa Rica and Latin America.

On this subject too I will give you some history of the country. I love history and I think it makes any travel adventure better.
